I just bought the rip cord this year for my new bow. And after about three hundred arrows, i noticed that the string (for the rest) goin to the cable is wearing on the housing for the rest. Its not the whole string, just the tail end of it that is just peaking out of the rest at full draw. And i dont know why it would be in that spot because the string is straight at full draw. I am able to replace the sting for the rest?

Mine started to fray after 2 years of shooting. I replace the string this winter. Wasn't tough at all, just be careful when opening it up, so you don't lose any small parts.
