No I wasn't talking about anyone on here, and I didn't mean in a pretentious snobby way either... More of a way to bring something up in conversation to get people to be like no way dude! For the attention, not for a higher than thou attitude. Music is all personal preference, and I'd have no idea about restaurants, I live in a town of about 100k in Kentucky, olive garden is fancy here lmao I know several beers can taste better, I'm just not as passionate as some it seems about something I drink about 2x a month.
I'm talking about the guys who think it doesn't suffice to say....."I'm going to drink a few beers". My all-time favorite is a Newcastle draft. And, I am a pseudo-snob about them. I can tell if they haven't cleaned the lines in a while....and I'll let 'em take it back if they haven't. But, I'm not gonna drink 10 of 'em. They each have their place in a country boy's palate. There's 'havin' a beer'.....and then there's drinkin'.
Sam Adams has even designed there own special drinking glass thats supposed to make the beer taste more special
Now you're talking. No snobbery.... just a good jolt now and then. LOL If you like Jack... well you're a Jack Drinker. If you like Single Batch.... well you're a single batch man. You can all drink the drink of your choice standing shoulder to shoulder. LOL
I have a collection of beer glasses for several different styles of beers. The shape of glass, the thickness of glass, and even the type of glass can be brought into the discussion when discussing proper glasses for beer. Go to Europe, and your beer will be served in the proper glassware, and only slightly chilled, almost room temperature. Like beer is supposed to be consumed.
