30 yards max for me. I practice keeping them in the bullseye out to 50 on flat ground, but that is just to reinforce basic fundamentals.
Anywhere from 30 -40. I do fine practicing at 50 but i don't feel with all my shaking when a deer steps in front of me that it would be a smart shot. Would rather have a clean kill instead of wounding a deer.
I thought I was the only one who had that problem LOL! The average kill for me is 20 yds. I will not go beyond 30 even thought I practice out to 40.
I've been practicing out to 60-70, and have surprised myself. But I wouldn't shoot a deer over 35-40.
My maximum range on a deer is 30 yards I practice out to 45 but wouldn't take a shot on an animal that far. Of course 15 is ideal in my eyes lol. But yeah 30 yards is the furthest shot id even consider taking.. Any further = no dice.
