Nevada is doing combination tags this year! Waiting to see dates and if the hunting unit I want will get it.

Well, the info I was looking for came out. I don't think that the combo hunt is in my 2014 Hunting season future. The fees are a little on the high side ($150 for both, compared to $30 for each). With my job change, I'm not sure how much I'll have when it comes time to pay for the tags, so I'm going to error on the side of caution and just do the Mule Deer hunt. Kinda bummed out on that one.

Plans do tend to change but running at muleys is still my personal favorite thing in life. Hang in there.
I was looking at CO. last night for the OTC nonresident and am not sure how it all breaks down but from what I gathered it was somewhere around six hundred bucks not counting travel ..plus,plus, etc. I haven't looked at NV. and most likely will just hunt mule deer this season, unless I draw a Bull Tag. It seems the fees on some of these hunts are steep but ya gotta love it when you get the chance to go.

601 for an either sex or 450 for antlerless. If you put back 50$ a week starting today you can one hell of an Elk trip come September.

Good luck. Here are Bow hunt for deer and elk are at the same time. We have to draw a deer tag and a archery spike/cow are OTC. you can draw a archery deer tag for the area we hunt is about every other year.

Thanks, and ...no excuses I know. Not in the 2014 plans but good to know if plans change.

Colorado is on the bucket list for a little bit later in life (mostly after I've got the vacation to enjoy it). I don't know what the non-resident tags/licenses cost here off the top of my head. NDOW does have the 2014 rules and regs out on there website.
