Whats everyone's thoughts on colored bowstrings. Ive got a camoflauge Hoyt bow and had to get it restrung so I'm going with black and orange for my strings......something a little different! I'll post pics once I get my bow back!!!

I don't understand why hunters spend all the time and money to not be seen by animals then put these bright strings and accessories on their bow that stand out. For deer it may not matter much but I also hunt turkeys in the fall and they can pick out things like that. I want to just be boring and blend in.

I agree with you 100%, but if you think about it, what color fletchings do you have. Usually they are bright colors so you can see them flying. I went with black and orange, and the little bit of orange that is on the string I dont think would bother a turkey, but who knows, it may come back to bite me in the A$$!!!

I see everyone else doing it, so I assume it doesnt make much of a difference in the woods. Honestly, I plan on getting something super obnoxious when I change my strings next.

I have a Centroid now and the strings are Blue and Grey. I love the way they look. I've had Red/Black, Red/Tan, Neon Green/Black and for my wife we have had Black/Purple and Black/bright Pink. I love custom colors on strings.

Colors are for interior designers, not bows.
