I have never Elk hunted before and it is a dream of mine. Luckily last year I was stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado. I will be returning from my deployment here real soon, while the 1st season is still in mid swing. Like I said, I have never hunted Elk before and would like some pointers or even someone who is around the Colorado Springs area to allow me to tag along, or even come with me. I will probably mainly hunt Fort Carson and the surrounding area, but will drive within 150 miles or so. If nothing else, maybe we could make new friends out of this experience.
