Bring a large package of unscented baby wipes. Find a wallow/water hole and if you get burned out hand a tree stand or make a ground blind.
Definitely want some weight on my elk hunt I shot a grizzly stik masie single bevel broadhead that weighed 250 and my arrow was 658 grains and I pulled my shot but it didn't matter i blew through both shoulders but I knew I was hunting in a heavily wooded area in Colorado and no shots would be past 40 yards and at that distance the heavy broadhead and arrow didn't make a difference but if your hunting in Utah or New Mexico where you can shoot 80 yards might want to go a different route. Are you using a basecamp by road to camp at or are you hiking/camping into mountains for a spike camp? If spike camp, how many days? This will determine a lot of what you will want or not want? Water and food are very important if you are putting on miles. More than just ramen will be needed. Make sure you have good boots that are broken in.
