What he said. You guys may be supermen but I know if I had easier access to weed and drugs when I was a kid I know I would not be where I am today and my grammar would be even worse. :-). Ok not funny. And don't say kids wont be able to get weed. At 14 my friends and I bought a case of beer every weekend. We have laws for just those reasons. Some people can't handle that kind of freedom.
We should take away guns since some people can't control themselves. Wait, I already read on facebook 83904589345 times in the last 24 hours that its already going to happen.
We need to get rid of many of the stupid laws on the books. I am a firm believer in protecting individual freedoms at all costs, even if our country goes to hell because "people just can't handle the freedom". I would rather live free and crash and burn than keep allowing the government to continue increasing it's stranglehold on individual freedoms. In other words, Big Brother is growing and maybe Orwell was correct.
You mean like the government selling lottery tickets in every lousy neighborhood to feed on the poor and ignorant all in the name of profit? I thought that's why people hated evil capitalist corporations.
Here is where your gun logic falls a part. A gun used correctly will not hurt anybody, the person using the gun needs to have the intent to do harm. Weed can and does harm folks used "correctly" and with no intent to do harm.
Obama has been the most anti-weed President ever which is really ironic since all the hippies, hipsters, and urbans vote for him.
Weed used "correctly" only harms the user. Same as cigarettes. Guns kill people, and since some people can't control themselves, we need to just get rid of them.
Don't worry, I didn't vote for O'bama. On the flip side to all that Afflicted, I am a social liberal I guess and a fiscal conservative. Not sure what that makes me (don't really care about labels). I am about doing away with BS lawsuits and tossing out crap judges and politicians. I am talking revamping the entire system to make them all accountable. I am also about holding people accountable for their actions. You want to abuse weed and act like a moron then we have a place for you. If you can handle it on your own property, have at it...don't care. And that goes for many other things in life. I don't want to give away my hard earned money to people who don't deserve it.....I could go on and on about things like crap affirmative action which violates the Constitution on its face or giving away our money to countries 10,000 miles away while letting our kids starve. Anywho, I have deer to kill in the morning.
LMAO. I guess I never read the directions. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=5gGZAIFteAg&desktop_uri=/watch?v=5gGZAIFteAg
I have an identity! I don't choose to behave in certain ways, but who am I to decide how others live their life? I don't have any right.
I think in a perfect world that's sounds wonder unfortunately the world is full of imperfect people, myself included.
Now you are just making crap up to support a weak argument. Weed is in fact more harmful than cigarettes. It has many times more tar and carcinogens than a cigarette. You just lost the argument for the pro weed boys on that one. Not to mention that I could smoke a couple of cigarettes and it would not dull my senses to operate a vehicle. But smoke some weed and then get behind the wheel and you are risking lives. There is absolutely no way you can honestly believe that weed does no more harm than cigarettes. But, if you do, you are wrong.
look at how much money the government has spent trying to do drug busts... im sorry but pot has been around a while its not gonna go away we might as well legalize it so our govenment can spend money on things it needs to be spent on or just save it and let our 20 trillion dollar debt (or somthin like that) hurt a little less. just my 2 cents
I can see both sides. The anti legalization crowd makes pot out to be the devil. The pro legalization crowd acts as if it is harmless as a puppy. Marijuana most certainly is harmful for your health, and others. Same with alcohol though. I am of the crowd you should either outlaw both, or allow both. They will have to develop a way to set standards for it, and test it rapidly, as breathalyzers have done for alcohol. Sobriety tests rarely hold up in court without a breathalyzer to match it (at least in my limited experience with friends going to court for it).
I think you're the one mistaken here. I've never seen a marijuana cancer patient. I've never seen a marijuana motor vehicle accident (MVA) patient. We drug test a lot of people that come into the hospital. I've never had a patient that was there due to marijuana, to the best of my knowledge. Most of the lung cancer patients are cigarette smokers, or those with industrial exposure. Most of the MVAs are alcohol related.
Wow I hope you just jerking our chain on this????? I have a nice scare on my arm from riding a motor cycle MVA. I can see the lawyers lining up now to sue the evil Marijuana corp for making burnouts out of their customers.
