For those who enjoy color pictures, a great news for you: you can now also record color video of your favorite animals. The just released Scoutguard SG860C is the first and the only camera that can record color video at night with built-in lighting and batteries. Period. To your surprise, field tests have shown that animals are not scared by white LED light at all, they just treat them like moons or stars, much as we do. So, be the first to peep into the intimate night life of your favorite animals in Color at Long Range. You might also want to bring this animal camera to a wedding party, because it is the only camera on the market that can record color video at night. For the first time, Game camera leads the digital camera industry, after a decade of trailing behind.

I can assure you all the cameras today, including the best SLR digital cameras, will be obsolete in a few years. Those camera makers who do not have access to the latest technologies will be wiped out soon. Technology moves fast. Think about it, unmanned Car by Google is now allowed to travel in California.
Check the cool video here: http://www.chasingame.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=31680 The camera does not even miss the detection of a MOUSE! SG560C is the same as SG860C with a different label.
It also has a Color Picture mode, in which the battery life is 2x longer than Zenon/White Flash cameras.
I'm thinking it would have to use "White LED's to get a color pic at night and if that's the case the deer will run from them just like the Red Blob cams.

Finally, trailcampro gave a review on this camera: http://www.trailcampro.com/scoutguardsg560creview.aspx
My eyes can even detect and see the red glow of Red IRs...not easily but I can. Deer can do the same...sorry but white leds I can still see and the deer can too. It's not the deer you get on camera that didn't spook, its the back ends, tails or blank shots of the ones you did miss that I'm worried about.
Bet you'd hardly ever get a wolf or yote as anything but a blur on that. They're just too spooky to put up with the light.
In picture mode, it is as good as white flash. In video mode, motion blur is not an issue. It actually spooks animals less than red blob IR. It's for someone who enjoys color pic and video. For stealthy concerns, black IR is definitely better.
