I am just curious how many of you are colorblind or can't see blood after the shot. I can see color but am considered colorblind. I've been training a dog to blood trail, but in Missouri I still have to contact conservation before using the pup. What do some of you who have this problem do?
A friend of ours is color blind. My brother usually blood trails his deer for him. We also like to yank his chain once in a while. We went to a shoot one time and he had brand new arrows. We asked him why he got pink fletches....he freaked out LOL!
My husband is color blind. He cannot track his own deer in the fall (or whenever we have no snow). He gets so frustrated over it. Usually he gets lucky and he watches whatever he kills fall.
My uncle is colorblind so if he doesn't see a deer go down in sight, we usually help him track it. I imagine it's a frustrating thing to deal with in the deer woods.
UV light will enhance blood, wet or dried even after rain in some cases. Being CB will not be a problem with UV lights. T
