On a totally unrelated topic besides score any of you guys hear on the pre game stuff the cost of tickets. 300 something was the cheapest and 3000 something was for sideline seats. Crazy ha.
Oregon 42 Ohio State 21 I'm blinded by hatred for OSU though. Logically I don't think OSU can stop Oregon... but my hatred prevents me from seeing the fact that Oregon likely can't stop OSU either.
Some of these predictions for the Oregon score are low! They're gonna put up at least 42. I'm thinking 45-21. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think its kinda funny that nearly everyone who picked Oregon said it would be a blow out. Why was there such confidence that Oregon's 83rd ranked defense would hold up versus an offense that lit up Bama, WI and Mich St?
You were right. It wasn't close. Ohio State - 42 Oregon - 20 It seemed as though it took a few minutes for Ohio State to adjust to the speed with which Oregon got into position for the play. But once they adjusted, it looked like bad news for Oregon. We had to leave before the end of the first half to get the girls to bed so we didn't know the outcome until this morning. But we weren't surprised. I wonder what those people who predicted an Oregon blowout are thinking now? I wonder on what they based that prediction.
Blind hatred of the team they were playing. The Buckeyes defense surprised much more than their offense last night though.
Oregon won their last three bowl games. They don't always do this. They just couldn't handle tOSU twice and Auburn once.
honestly I was rooting for the BIG 1O and not just OSU.... That is what I have to tell myself now so I can sleep....lol
I was blown away by Oregon's lack of ability to tackle. How many times did they hit the OSU player high on the shoulder pads and just bounce off. Over and over and over. Not to mention the way OSU's O-line owned the D-line and linebackers of Oregon. It was an impressive beat down for sure. Oregon wasn't ready for the moment.
I knew Oregon couldn't match how physical OSU is, or have an answer for Elliott. I was worried about turnovers.. And they were a big factor, Oregon just couldn't handle tOSU's size and physical play even with all of the turnovers. Like Iron Mike used to say... Everyones got a plan 'till they get punched in the mouth. Marcus Marroitta (sp?) is an impressive, classy young man.
I was really in hopes that the kids in Columbus would show a little more class with their celebration. What is it that makes people get so freaked out about a sporting event that they must run to the streets and start destroying things?
