You know LSU fans refer to him simply as "Satan"? Aww, they're going to be fine. I can't think of anyone right off that has any significant talent to knock Bama off their high and lofty perch. Yes, I am a "barner" I guess... I don't expect much from this years crop of talentless Auburn players but stranger things have happened when a team gets it going. The 2005 team for example wasn't all that good but they somehow kept winning. Alabama was that way two years ago when they won it all. Not very good, they just got a few lucky breaks... including Colt McCoy's ribs.
Major coup for AU BARN today, top alabama prospect and long time commit ruban foster flips to auBARN...it's cool though, TJ Yeldon did the same last year and we landed him anyway. Not sure if this guy will be back, he will play right away down on the plains. I know this board could care less, but this dude is a beast.
Decommits is part of the recruting game now days with the push for such early verbals from the kids. tOSU has had two decommits this year. Couple of nice prospects but not bluechips like Foster.
Oh yeah, no doubt. It just adds fuel when one of them goes to the plains instead of T-town or vice versa...TJ Yeldon did the same last year to them and came our way. TV, ego's, scouts, Rivals, you name it and these kids want to be big shots before their time. Kid is a horse right now, but so are alot of others who never pan out. Everyone is talking about how Saint Nick gets the best of the best etc...and while he does get his share alot of our recent big boys who went high in the draft were 3 star guys on the recruting sites. Man are you ready for college football or what.
