Reading the Home Depot award predictions, they are guessing Ingram will win the Maxwell (best player, basically the heisman's little brother) and Gerhart will win the Doak Walker (best running back). So they are saying Ingram is the best player in the country, but not the best at his position...huh? Gerhart isn't even nominated for the Maxwell. The other two nominees are McCoy and Tebow, while both great players, seem to making it this year based on their name alone. Just thought that was interesting.
These awards are all just so they can get an award. Usually, the Maxwell goes to the second place Heisman winner, so it looks like Gerhart is more than likely going to win the Heisman.
