I just bought my first coleman stove. It is from 1982 and it fires up great and only cost me 10 bucks. It uses the coleman fuel. Have any of you used unleaded in the non-duel fuel stoves? Im planning on just sticking with the coleman fuel but Id like to know if unleaded would work in a pinch.
I could be wrong, but I don't think Coleman fuel is gasoline. I think it's more like kerosene or charcoal lighter.
you almost certainly will blow yourself up if you use unleaded. A Coleman stove is pressurized, for God's sake.
What got me on the subject was this story of a couple going on the road since 2003 in asia and south america living on their coleman. http://www.landcruisingadventure.com/the-gasoline-coleman-stove/
