I just bought my first coleman stove. It is from 1982 and it fires up great and only cost me 10 bucks. It uses the coleman fuel. Have any of you used unleaded in the non-duel fuel stoves? Im planning on just sticking with the coleman fuel but Id like to know if unleaded would work in a pinch.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Coleman fuel is gasoline. I think it's more like kerosene or charcoal lighter.

I wouldn't risk a $10 gem with anything less than the right stuff.

Coleman Fuel is not gasoline and you would probably blow yourself up if you used gasoline in it.

Coleman did make a lantern that ran on unleaded but respect your treasure and feed it the right fuel

I am definitely going to just use the recommended coleman fuel.

you almost certainly will blow yourself up if you use unleaded. A Coleman stove is pressurized, for God's sake.
