Does it ever get to cold for cameras to be out? Or can they go all winter? Here in Mn it gets pretty cold...

Some of my Coverts seen -30 temps this year, that dont include windchill (central Wisconsin).

So to answer your ?, depends what model you have. I know my 2006 Stealth Cam dont work under 20 degrees, my moultries require battery changes every month (m80), and my Covert mpe5 I just changed the batteries the other day and that cam has been out since December and our average temp up until March was .7 degrees.

Mine were out all winter, just took them down about two weeks ago. Still running same batteries from last March/April. That's main thing to worry about in cold but if ya get some decent batteries they should be alright.

Leave them out. They can go through batteries faster, but they can still work.

Yep, I've had two Coverts and one homebrew out the whole winter. Getting great photos. Battery drain on the homebrew is a bit quicker, but the Covert's are holding strong.

I left my coverts out all weather here in Wisconsin and they did great, some of my best pics of mature bucks came during the cold snaps. Scoot

I have two stealth cams. One older and one 2012 model. They don't hold up so well in cold weather. Making the switch to covert soon...
