Ive got the older Lacrosse 7mm Aero's that has the thick rubber that comes up the shin and wraps around (I love 'em, still wear 'em/5 yrs old now ), I also have their Agility (1200gr) but when it gets cold/snowy/icy, I use these(1400 gr), Ive been thru water/ice that was half way up and I stayed dry, just dont go over where the tongue drops down .. ... this is year 3 with 'em, they have been a good boot (if you dont mind the high lacing, which dosnt bother me) ... I'll still use toe warmers if it is super cold... btw, the anti-perspirant on the feet does help too .. I'll wear a good liner sock then a thick 80% worsted wool sock (BassPro all purpose wool sock ... great warm wool hunting sock ...) 20221121_112919.jpg

If your talking about these @0317, they have been the best boots to date for mid season. DA430AF7-C144-4501-9A99-C2D9E2FDC1E7.jpeg

I still have a pair of the old Lacrosse Ice Kings. They dont come up that high but in a dry or snowy goose field they perform so well. Had them since i was a teenager. Only wear them probably once or twice a year. 9B79942C-B054-4EC2-9E72-FCF617FB6A42.png

I used to wear Ice Kings exclusively in cold weather when I was in high school and college. I remember going on deer drives with them and the older guys in the group asking me how I was able to walk in those things. They are heavy as hell, but man they can keep your feet warm!

I tried climbing ladder sticks in them once. Needless to say that one ended as a ground hunt near the base of that tree. Definitely huge.
