I have tried filming some of my hunts the last couple years, including late season hunts. When it gets cold, my video camera needs to "warm up" before it can record. I just have a small JVC Everio so I have just put it in my coat pocket until something happens. Is there a way to keep the camera warm enough to film in cold weather so I don't have to put it in my pocket? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
i run into the same problem, im thinking this is the only way really http://www.campbellcameras.com/shop...amera-Weather-Covers/Cold-Weather-Covers.aspx
You can tape hand warmers on but I usually take the battery off and just keep that in my pocket. it's a little easier that putting the whole camera in your pocket.
My camera is small enough to where it easily fits in my pockets, but I was trying to avoid as much movement as possible. I looked at those and they seem to only for professional cameras and not for like a handycam type of camera
im sure if you do some looking around online you cand find one, i just havent got around to it yes since its about 8 months away
