Worked out pretty good this morning. It was 38 degrees. My feet were a little cold walking in. 20 minutes after I put the boot shields on, my feet were nice and warm! No hand warmer yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pac boots, I rock some Cabelas Inferno 2000g.. Wear them loose, with a good wool sock. Not a great boot for mobility and hiking, but sitting on stand or in a blind when its cold, its my go to boot.
I only wear 800 gram of insulation with summer socks. I find if i wear heavy socks my feet will sweat getting into my stand then after a bit my feet gets cold. If I keep my feet from sweating before I get to my stand I am ok. I used to go bare feet til I would get to my stand then put on socks once in and that worked for me. Nothing ends a hunt faster than getting cold.
