This week the temps suppose to be anywhere from an average high of 16 and a low of 0, plus wind chill. Well I have my new covert mp6 out an was wondering if its ok? I know their built tough but don't know how it or any other cam would do in those temps. What do you guys think?

I'd say it'll be fine. If it isn't than no camera is, but unlike some brands I bet their CS will fix or repair it if something would happen. Our cameras stay up pretty much year round and haven't had a hick up yet out of our Coverts...knock on wood.

I put a DLC Covert Reveal out in September of 2011 and just pulled the camera a couple weeks ago. It took pics until June of 2012 and that is a flash camera. They stand up to cold weather really well.

Cold weather doesn't seem to bother my covert's. My moultrie's are hit and miss when the temps drop.

I did when I pulled my cameras a year ago but it was in a spot that I decided I was not going to go in this year during hunting season so it had to wait until I went in looking for Split Brows other side.

Cold weather can reduce the detection range by half. As such, you never go wrong if you go with a Long Range camera.

Ive noticed my pictures getting a little blurry, and the IR getting a little weak with the cold temperatures. Moultrie and Covert.
