New to hunting and this will be my first season out. Still learning. How much does the weather affect deer movement? Its been cooling down here and the deer seem to be moving much more. Is it just me or do they move more when its colder?

    Colder temps = more movement

Agreed. But i have noticed a bit of a drop off in movement since it cooled down a bit. Went from the 200 pics in 2 weeks to 30.

Haven't checked the cameras in a while but the past few hunts I've seen almost 2 times as many deer as I usual do. Interesting.

Wheather definately affects deer movement. This time of year movement is limited to mornings and evenings. Winds of 20 mph or more will cause deer to hunker down and not move at all. The back side of cold fronts is an excellent time to be in the woods all day long.
