I went out on my first morning hunt of the year Saturday and had a hard time keeping my hands warm. I use heavier double lined gloves, and take some of the hand warmer pouches with me but was not impressed by either product. So, I am looking for recommendations on products that you guys use when the temp dips below freezing.

    Thanks
    Matt

Yep. I don't like having heavy gloves on at all when bowhunting so I use my thin ones all year and add the muff and hand warmers later in the season.

I just posted something on my facebook - who ever invents a pair of heated archery gloves I'll be the first buyer.

I cannot wear heavy gloves as I cannot draw my bow and shoot with them. I just want a thin glove that has like an ultra-ray heating system, lol. Someone could get rich!

This is what I use. I will usually where a thin pair of gloves when I am entering and leaving the woods but when I am in stand and need to keep my hands warm I just go with a hand muff and hand warmers.

I have an UA hand muff and use the Hot Hands handwarmers, I keep a few extras in my pack and have no problem keeping my hands warm on an all day sit late season with that combination.

I use a hand muff. I bought just the el cheapo one and the strap broke so I would suggest the UA brand if you got the moola. Love burying my hands deep in that muff, tho!
