If anybody seen my last post the top limb on my old Martin Jaguar Magnum cracked the other day!! The goofy thing though when I was shooting a few arrows last week the top limb Limbsaver Dampener fell off. I checked over the bow and all was well. I shot the other night without it and about shot number 15 is when I heard the loud thud/crack noise come from the bow. So do you think the Limbsavers work that well, that it was doing its job and absorbing most of the shock or do you think it was just a freak accident?? Im thinking it was a freak accident, but I do know I will not own another bow without some sort of Limb Dampener on my limbs..haha!!
Perhaps the limb was stressing in the area that the Limbsaver was and that caused it to come off. Who knows?
