Yup, all the time, and besides the day I dropped it 20 some feet to the forest floor (imagine that sound at 5:30am in a quiet forest), I've never had issues with deer winding the coffee smell.

I sometimes bring coffee in the late season, but it's usually hot apple cider.

Speaking of apples. I like to take one with me to the stand. Eat it for a snack and then place in on a branch above me or around me in my tree to help with a cover scent. Baiting is illegal here so I don't want to drop it on the ground. When I get out of my stand I just leave it up in the tree.

Absolutely!!! Coffee has kept me in the stand when I was getting cold and nearing quitting time ... it breaks up the day too ... plus it is a "warm fuzzy" when Dad would let me drink some of his when I was a boy ...

I like drinking gatorade and snapple peach tea in the blind or stand most of the time. you just have to make sure to peel the labels off beforehand because they are so brightly colored. Koozies are helpful when hunting to protect the bright colors of drinks in clear bottles. Not a big coffee drinker yet, but I'm sure I will be someday when i get older

I personally don't take caffeinated products into the woods, as they act as diuretics (make you have to pee). When it's cold I take hot chocolate. Otherwise, it's generally just water, and a few protein bars.

I am definetely going to be rocking the hot apple cider this year! I never would have thought to bring that hunting. I usually only bring water and even then I don't drink it until im hiking outta there. This year I'll sippin on some cider.

Gatorade if full of sugar that also acts as a dierutic and gets you peeing. Never could figure out why coaches always told us were losing water so drink gatorade...Just drink water
