cobra I brace height?

    have a nice Browning Cobra I . is marked 50" Amo I'm trying to find the proper brace height. need to find the right string. a 48" string gives me 6 1/2" height and a 46" string gives 8 1/4" anyone have some original info? I can't find anything on the web. thanks

    The 50" Cobra I takes a 46" string(B-50) and braces 8"-8.5". I had alot of Browning's and this is what worked for my Cobra I. They're nice shooting bows. There was a Cobra, a Cobra I, and Cobra II. The original Cobra was made for 1 yr only...1969 and was 50". The Cobra I came out in 1970 and was also 50". And the Cobra II, which was 58" came out shortly after that. They made the I & II's until 1975
