Clover is coming in

    Here is a pic of a half acre plot that I experiment with. Last July I mowed and tilled green oats into the upper half of this plot then planted brassicas along with red and white clover. To my surprise the oats reseeded themselves. I thought they would be too immature. They helped make a good cover crop for the clover as you can see it is starting to green up. There are still spots of snow tucked up against the hills in my woods.

    I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the other half of this plot. I may plant Chicory again. It grew well the last time.
