Thats why I said generally disregard and not totally. Even blind squirrels find a nut every now and then.
Vito= I wash them between every hunt if I have the energy. I mean if you want to try your best to fool the deer.... By the end of last season I was so sick of the warm temps and lack of deer I gave up on scent free almost altogether and I still managed to shoot a doe .
