I'm talking about the options upon pregnancy. Not how to avoid pregnancy, if we had that there would be no discussion on abortion.
This is not a discussion about adoption. Still, I think 100% of the folks here will agree the adoption process is as messed up as our national budget and immigration policy (or lack thereof). Maybe the solution is to vote for the most conservative person who firmly believes in self determination and responsibility rather than the most liberal who believes in empowering poor decision making.
It is about adoption since many of you bring up that option. It's like saying we should kill all drunk drivers but we're not going to discuss the killing, just the drunk driving. You guys presented adoption as an option and viable, I'm asking if it really is.
Exactly!!! Again, with respect, the decision begins before the breathing gets heavy. The lib pro-abortionists are so determined to inflict on America its will that the decision making process before then is considered evil. Look what happens to conservatives who wish to talk about good decision making, mounds and mounds of criticism. However, your point regarding adoption is great. Let's do something about it. I've given money to candidates who try to change this. Do you? This is not an attack, I am just curious if you are so invested in the idea of abortion that you are unable to see other solutions, such as fixing the adoption process.
There are many parents waiting for children in America. Yes, the process is jacked. But no, there are many good parents willing to take these kids.
You're equating all life as a child. Basically a tumor is a clump of cells "life" so it would be wrong to remove it right? I'd that tumor was found on Mars it would be called life right? You're dubbing one connotation of life to all. You know there is a difference if you dont, then that tumor argument is valif
No I've given no money. I don't care to change the system because I won't make a difference. I live my life with my views and try to steer from others who I can't get along with. You have this idea that I'm "invested" in this idea of abortion. I'm just stating that I'm pro choice. I'm not bombing clinics or voting to keep it legal because i will survive whether the option is there or not.
Sure I'll take that if you agree the baby and "life" on Mars are two totally different things. If you think my.analogy sucks. Tell me why it doesn't work in comparison to the mara analogy?
The difference is that a tumor won't be born as a baby in 9 months. I'm not sure what your getting at here.
ok, quick google of the subject: According to a study done by National Survey of Family Growth, there are ~3 parents looking for every 1 child adopted. This is an old 1988 study, but figure the numbers wouldn't be that much different from what is happening today.
yeah I agree that both of y'all's points were horrible your tumor will never grow or have the capability of surviving on it's own and any life on Mars would be capable of surviving on it's own
If you kept the tumor in the body it can sustain itself. If you kept the cells on Mars it would sustain itself.
Very sad, I guess there's a lot to you we don't know but know this God loves you and can heal all. Seek him.
OK like I said. Financial along with red tape. Parents can be looking but they're looking elsewhere. There is no shortage of kids in America waiting to be adopted.
Then again, it would be a bit challenging for the cells to get to Mars in the first place. Think about it.
