Disagree. I have had Summits and they are good stands. But they are heavier (at least the ones I had were heavier than my handclimber) and noisier. Comfort was the only benefit, but to me I have no issues with the LoneWolf seat.

Yes you said so in your first post on this tread. I didn't feel the need to comment on it and i still don't now.

To the OP, I have a sit and climb Wide. And also a pair of summit vipers on with the original seat and the other with a hazemore seat.
I like the summits in every respect compared to the LW except for packing them.

Only climber I have is A summit Viper... Its super comfortable, in fact I have a hard time staying awake! However the thing is a tank and packs like I believe someone said a toilet. I haven't had it out this year and when I do I usually leave it at the base of the tree for periods of time. The Lone Wolf Flip Top looks super sexy. Kind of get the best of both worlds!

This is where I play devils advocate a bit. Yes, I have a LW Wide Sit and Climb and love the thing. However, there are some things that I feel need to be put out there.

Summit's are far more comfortable for those that sit mostly. I do not, so this is a wash for me. However, the stock LW seats are almost worthless and I promptly swapped it for a mesh style seat. Problem solved.

Summits weight about the same as the LW's. If you take a comparable Summit model, for example the Viper and put it against the LW Wide Sit and Climb, they're within a pound of one another.

Summits also have more usable platform than a LW.

Now, the LW's are hands down quieter and pack far better. No contest. You will never have to worry about a LW making a peep climbing or while hunting out of it. I also like that the LW puts me a bit closer to the tree, for concealment purposes.

All in all, for my needs, the LW is the better stand. But, not by as much as they or some lead you to believe.
