I'm looking for a new set of climbing sticks. I'm wanting some that are light weight but wont break the bank. Does anyone have any suggestions?

How high do your sticks generally get you? Looking into getting a pair. Are they easy to work with?

This is something that IMO you're better off spending some money on, especially if you plan to be mobile. With that said I highly recommend getting 4 lone wolf sticks. I want to say they weigh ~2lbs each, grip fantastic to trees, and super easy to set up.

I agree with Matt, LW is the way to go. They are about the same price as Muddy and they are made in the US.

Field supply has XOP sticks $99 for 4 pack. I bought 3 sets and to be honest I can't tell any difference in them and the Lone Wolf except the strap material.

I like to be 20-25 feet up. I was looking into lone wolf sticks, I just thought $200 was steep.

Cheap and lightweight never come together when talking about climbing sticks.

LW, Muddy, and the new sticks from hawk are all good options to look into.

I've been looking at Hawk the past week or so. Looks like they are good quality and light. Inexpensive in comparison to others. Less than $300 gets you 4 sticks and a stand and only weighs in at 23.5lb according to the specs on their website. This will probably be the rout I go when I finally purchase. I like LW and Muddy but, with two of us hunting now, It's hard to justify spending the money on two of those high dollar set ups. It would cost nearly a grand to get us both set up.
