climbing stand straps

    hey yall i have a summit viper sd with the factory backpacking straps. when hunting i tie my day pack to the stand for easier carry. the straps dig in to the shoulder s if i walk any distance . any ideas on either replacement straps or adding some type of padding to the straps .. thanks guys

    I attach my pack to my stand as well. It really helps to have the shoulder straps tight. Once you hoist the stand on your back pull the adjustment straps until they are tight. This way the loose straps don’t dig into your shoulders. Plus it distributes the weight better on your back having the stand tight and not flopping around.

    I added a plastic molle backpack frame with the padded shoulder straps and waist belt I bought from military surplus store to my stand
