.......and Glavine has 2 Cy Young's and one ring. Don't get me wrong. I'm the biggest Glavine fan you will ever find, (if you can find another one) and I firmly believe Lee has better stuff. Lee will win a ring without a doubt. If Lee didn't play for a crapy Indians organization he would have close to 150 wins.
I don't see Cliff Lee making the HOF at all. I really can't see him winning 200 games.....300 seems to be the benchmark to get in the hall. For the $$$ the Philly has wrapped up in that staff, they better win some rings lol.
$20 million a year for a guy that went 12-9 in 2010 and 14-13 in 2009. Not saying he isn't all that because I think he is, but geez that's a lot of cash to pay for 13 wins a season. Yes a lot has to do with the teams he was on, but still.....whoa! Actually he was 4-6 on the Rangers last season.
This is a great site if you get into baseball statistics and seeing how well a player has done and comparing players, etc. Here is Cliff Lee's page: http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/l/leecl02-pitch.shtml
Lee is a great talent, and I believe he will win a championship in Philly. However, I don't view him as a HOF pitcher at this point in his career.
