Just wondering how y'all clean your mounts. I have skull and shoulder deer mounts as well as a couple duck mounts that could use a good cleaning. Any help is appreciated!

The best is using a vacum with the hose to suckout the dust from the shoulder mounts. That works for my shoulder mounts

wet rag....there is a sheen you can get to protect the hair and make it last longer also. Go check out vandykestaxidermy.com I use to use it and it works well.

A lot of time just using your bare hand to wipe off the mounts works well. The natural oils on your skin help to pull dust off. Never go against the the direction the hair is laid down.

I use the vacuum but I put the brush attachment on the end of the hose. Works on fur and fish.
