I love Townes.So many people think Willie wrote that song. did you see the movie about Townes? Man that guy could write. Too bad he couldn't put the plug in the jug. His life was tragicly short and he brought it about himself.

For "modern" country I think Steve Earle is hard to beat.

 

Yeah I just wish he would leave politics out of it. I love his music and don't give a rats patootie about his political views.
The movie is a documentary. I can't think of the name. If I come up with it I'll let you know.

 

Be here to love me is the name of the movie. Interesting and heartbreaking.
