New test of an old classic. How do you think it will compare to today's more modern heads?

I think this is the first time (or one of very few times) an aluminum ferrule hasn't completely detonated on the concrete? Didn't appear to be any ill effects at all.

Looks like you could replace the blades, give the tip a light filing and it would be good to go again.

Not sure, but I’ll let you know.
I killed 9 animals in Africa ten years ago and several truck loads of deer with the 3 blade.
I can’t remember a single bent blade on any of them, but also don’t recall any steel plating hanging on them either.
Oh ya, nothing went over 50 yards that I remember.

Back in the day when it was still original owner, Muzzy's were the head, and it seems they still are ... killed quite a few deer with 'em, I preferred them over Thunderheads ... Muzzy's and 2413's and an overdraw ..

I've used muzzys for 30+ years, and I'm still using them. Killed a lot of deer with them. If it's not broken, don't fix it.
