With the legendary bowhunter himself working with Bushnell to design a rangefinder made specifically for bowhunters how could they not succeed?
The Chuck Adams Series rangefinder from Bushnell is a Bowhunting masterpiece. This 5.3 oz. lightweight pocket-size rangefinder is ergonomically designed and loaded with features that aide the bowhunter.
This rain-proof rangefinder has ARC (Angle Range Compensation) technology which accounts for the angle to the target and calculates the “shoot like” distance. As an archer I found the “Bow Mode” to be another great option. It will simultaneously displays line of sight, angle and true horizontal distance from 5-99 yards based on angle from -90º to +90.º With a ranging distance of 5 to 850 yards, +/- one-yard accuracy and a 4X magnification you know this rangefinder is up to the task. The rangefinder uses a long life 3-volt-CR2 battery and is protected with a posi-thread battery door. With a built in battery life indicator you will never be left in the woods wondering if the battery is good. If you have a magnetic attachment and are wondering if the device is compatible with it, don’t worry it is.
I have been using this for a few months and have enjoyed using it. There hasn’t been one instance when it didn’t range accurately or let me down.

I'm not a huge fan of mine. Chuck is like a hero to me in the sport so was an easy choice to me. Andove the size and design. But mine doesn't seem to be consistent. I normally have to click on something 5 times and take the range that comes up most often. And won't always just vary by a yard, at 50 yards I've seen it guess from 48 to 52. Don't sound like a big seal but at distance like that it is a big difference. Just my experience though, maybe I got a bad one.

Did you ever contact support or change batteries?

Didn't contact support...normally have such bad luck when you complain to almost any company that I gave up. It's always just people tryin to put in their 40 hours and get home, so they don't care about you. Not like the old days when people did care. It's brand new batteries so I'm sure its not that though.

I've worked with Bushnell on 2 trail cams that weren't acting right and they were awesome to deal with. They replaced both cams and even upgraded them. Have had no issues since so I bought some binos, a scope, and one of these range finders.
I've noticed mine does the same thing. However, I contribute it to operator error. Also, the targets are further away (+35 yards), and in a woods so there is a lot that could go wrong.
