Well the Walmart order was a nightmare, but at least this transaction has been smooth. Cant pick him up before Christmas Day but we will get him either the 26th or 27th. Should be a cool surprise for the kiddos. Been looking fo a good Chocolate male for awhile

    Nice!

    Shed dog? Dove/duck/goose dog?

I was going to get a chocolate lab, but I came across an ad I couldn't pass up for my dog before I found one

Waterfowl and shed Cole, my yellow lab is a great shed dog and used to be pretty damn good at both upland birds and waterfowl. The wife and kids have been makin her soft though. We had a Chocolate male (English lab at that) until a few years ago when he mysteriously came up missing one evening. I believe he was stolen. He was a master of all things retrieving. Can't wait to get started with this lil dude.

Do you do the training TJ? Im really wanting to do sheds with my pup....waterfowl, possibly. That's about all that would be here.

Actually I just need to move, you know for the dogs sake.

Ya Matt I've always done all my own training. Labs are pretty easy to train and work with. Hardest thing is making the time consistently while they are pups to keep the training up. I never even started my female on sheds until she was over a year, she took to it like she was born for it.

Congrats bud! I absolutely love my chocolate to death. Better dog than I could have ever dreamed. Would get another in a heart beat if I had time to train 'em!
