It was another good christmas at my parents' place in northern MI. We opened presents, ate too much at breakfast, did some sledding, caught some steelhead, killed a deer, ate too much at dinner, and then drank too much wine. Of course I didn't kill the deer. My brother and I were out keeping our christmas day steelhead streak alive, while my BIL went out back and shot a small doe. He doesn't fish, but he's still alright I guess. Best part was the kids got to track and drag the deer.

Tracking party ready for action. I don't know where my son gets his inability to take things seriously.

I think she figured out which way it went.

Pretty sure this is the right way.

    Getting closer.

    And there she is.

Now time to get it back to the house.

tell the truth Vito .you just made it seem fun to the kids so they would drag the deer back.

It looks like a great time was had by all, if only more people took the time to enjoy what the great out doors has to offer.

Outstanding! If I remember correctly, isn't that your mother in the pics? If so, she looks like she laughed the entire time...I love it.
