So what is every one having for Christmas dinner? Any traditions or special meals today? Pics would be sweet too!

I had one Christmas dinner last night so far at my girlfriend's house and it is the best meal I have every year. Her mom makes prime rib, twice baked potatoes, homemade rolls, veggies, and your choice of creme brulee or chocolate mousse for dessert. Sooooo good! Today is a little more traditional at my family Christmas with turkey and ham and a large array of sides and desserts.

About to throw on the steaks. Mushrooms have been simmering on the grill already.

We had Prime Rib, some killer potato things my mom backed, bean casserole, and croissants. We also had meatballs and shrimp for appetizers. Dessert was deconstructed conoles.

Pretty much stuck to a healthy diet. I did make some fruitcake muffins for the kids which were quickly devoured. My wife's family has a tradition of eating "oysters" for Christmas Eve. I'll pass.

I actually made some marinated quail bites wrapped around pepperjack cheese, wrapped on bacon! They were a big hit with my family.

I deboned the breasts and cut off the little fat on them, placed pepperjack cheese in them and then wrapped them in bacon.

Half of them I marinated in BBQ sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, & brown sugar, pinch of garlic powder

The other half is marinated in olive oil, franks hot sauce, garlic powder, bobs seasoning, crawdads hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce and red pepper flakes.

    Both were outstanding!
