OK my brothers and sisters in Christ ..... what Christian book(s) have you read that you loved .... other than The Bible.

Anyone ever read "The Shack" by William P Young? Incredible fiction read

Also A.W. Tozier "Reclaiming Christianity" was a non-fiction must read
    ...

I read "The Shack" and I loved it...blew my mind that people (in fiction) could view God differently than I. Really opened my eyes in a good way!
    Could not put it down.

    Others?

I have also read The Shack. That kind of forgiveness is something that I continue to struggle with.

I haven't read these 6 books but, I hear they are good. The Author is my childhood pastors son. William (Bill) Isaacs. I hope to start on them soon. I guess I will go in order. Embracing Destiny (2002); intersection (2004); What Our Storms Teach Us (2006); Invited to the Deep End (2007); A Life Worth Living (2009); When Leaves Turned Under (co-authored with Kathy Isaacs 2010).

I honestly do not know. I just know I have heard some of them are good reads and know the family he came from. They are a God fearing family that have been called to spread his word. Everyone over the age of 18 in the family is in some form of the ministry whether it be filming services to being a pastor.

A third vote for radical by David platt!

Other favorites include the "way of the warrior" series by Graham Cooke. All 3 books are awesome, and are set up as an interactive journal, so you are growing and reflecting while reading.

I also enjoy anything by max lucado, rc sproule, bill Johnson, and Jimmy evans.
