Maybe so, but the trial wasn't about whether Ventura puts the seat up or owns a pit bull. Also, recall that Ventura was the plaintiff. I'm encouraged though, by knowing that you guys, were you on a jury, would be able to make a fair decision based on the facts you heard in court, in spite of the nonsense I'm reading here. Of course, once the trial was over, you would have to deal with your friends telling you that you made the wrong decision based on what they read on the internet.
