So 75% mods on both the x will be slightly faster? I want an x but I have not shot one

The Chill R will be slightly faster but not much. The X will have a nicer draw and transition into the valley. The 75s aren't nearly as aggressive on the X. I have seen a 10-12 fps difference from the 75% to the 85% on the X

I have the chill SDX, and I guess it's not the same because of it's size but it's the (small draw x)...I love it I have the 85% let off rock mods on it and I love the whole rig. You can't go wrong with that bow. I would have gotten it but it's definitely too big for me and the SDX fits me perfectly.

What's a better grip to get? I like the focus grip but I want something more adjustable that I can tune to my hand. It will be going on the chill x I'm getting.

I really like the Focus grip so I have not tried any others, I used to put Tourqeless grips on all My Mathews until they come out with the Focus grip.

The HDA Grip is the best grip for Mathews bows if you want something adjustable. They're pricey but worth it. I use Shrewd a lot too but they're not adjustable. The Focus is alright, I've hunted with it in the past but I get more side to side "wiggle" with it.
