I'm fortunate I live in a great wing area. There is a wing night every night of the week and although I have my favorites, I can't think of a single place where I have had bad wings. A couple favorites though is a little place just overt he hill from my house, Nancy and Johnnies Country Tavern (Wednesday). Great wings but they only serve BBQ, mild and hot. I get the mild there. Just a preference. Another great place is the Valley Inn, known for the competition wings, there it's got to be Golden Tangy! Our local Moose club is another, Thursdays and it's Garlic/BBQ wings...MMMMM MMMMmmm Womer's (Thursdays) and it's Mild Garlic...oh yeah! Ben usually brings some up to work on bows on Thursdays. So many wings, so little time! Of course in Erie with Bowtech Shooter and Buckeye we hit the Quaker Steak and Lube....we put some wings away didn't we Scott?
Theres a place down here called Gators Dockside and they have the best wings around especially thier honey chipotle BBQ sauce Holy Yeah!! That stuff is good!! And you also have your hooters and winghouse.
CBS News Chicago called "Frank's for the Memories" in Mundelein the best wings in chicago... imho, they are, i've had wings all over chicago area and many southern WI places as well, Frank's is tops...
As much as I like Quaker Steak and Lube's wings... Two weekends ago when I was in town for the WNY Sport and Travel Expo I treated myslef to the king of wings... The Anchor Bar in Buffalo... They're excellent... And you can bet your butt I'll be hitting the Quaker Steak and Lube in Madison, WI next weekend when I'm in town for the Deer & Turkey Expo...:d
The best place for wings is at my house. Since I came up with this recipe, I'm spoiled. Very rarely do I even find a store bought wing enjoyable in the least. Most are over cooked and tough as nails. My wings are the top of the heap. They couldn't do them commercially as it takes me 45-50 min. to an hour to do them. Depends on the size of the wings.
Had my share of wings again tonight. From Womers, the Mild Garlic, MMmm MMM, Ben called up, did ya eat, nope...he brought the wings (Ben I forgot to pay ya). Wings, working on bows and shooting. Great night! Bowtech Shooter, Now that looks good!
I've decided I'm going on a roadtrip to discover the best wings in the great state of Missouri......aww yeeaaaaahhhhhhhh.......
Hmmmm I like Wing Street and Buffalo Wild Wings... BWW has some great stuff, like their Buffalito's Buffalo wing tacos... yes buckeye, they come in a tortilla
