    Why? As far as I know, it's legit. It's obvious what neighborhoods to avoid.

    They have fallen off pace from 2012. They need to step up their game if they want to beat 2012's record.

    It has to be a farce because guns are not allowed in Chicago.

    No, that was just for average citizens, the gangs were always allowed to have guns.
    I wonder if the numbers will improve now that residents can have handguns again and the impact of concealed carry becoming legal?
    But I'm sure the mayor and police chief will take the credit claiming they "stepped up their fight against gangs"

    Really? Chicago has gangbangers that don't follow the law? I find that hard to believe.

    There will be blood... Took a class and studied one study that was done on high gang activity areas. Homicides, gang related and non gang related will increase n the warmer months.

    I dont think it takes proper research to figure out becuase are outside more in the summer than when its cold and the heat has a high correlation with higher murder rates... I hate hot weather and get very pissy too. Luckily i can afford AC in my home and trucks so i dont kill anybody

    Sad to say I was born and raised on the west side of Chicago. How things have changed so much in such a relatively short time.
