Huh, Must have missed something fairly entertaining. The dentist told me I needed to cut back on the popcorn. :)

Welcome back Heckler. I like when folks maintain the same avatar from year to year. I just kind of slithered back in a few weeks ago myself. Let the arrows fly!

Boo, I haven't been posting much on FB. Especially when it relates to hunting! I know you are just full of it and that's ok! That's why I like you so much! :p

Well, yes and no. We are getting a little closer with each day that passes. My wife derailed the initial plan a bit. She couldn't stomach living so far out of town and the kids having to drive poor roads to school every day.

That's OK. I ended up with a nice hunting property. :)

So with that said we purchased another property. It's 22 acres and quite a bit closer to town. It has timber and alfalfa on it. The deer and turks are just as plentiful! We have a house plans ready to rock! So with that said, pending the resolution of a separate legal issue we should get started this spring!

Also the neighbor on the original parcel past away this spring. Our intent is to purchase that parcel expanding the total property size to about 70 acres.

It's not available around here! We have been very lucky. Although the cost of the last 22 acres made me want to throw up. Funny thing is 3 weeks after we bought it a realtor reached out to us and try to get us to sale it to his client. We just laughed..... Land close to town is going for 7K-8K an acre... Gag.....

Good to see you again Heckler. I've been off of here for quite some time myself, just happened to come back and participate in the contest again. Hope to see you knock down a good one this year.
