    Actually deer have been known to eat baby birds as well as fish.

    I forget what year I read it but in Bowhunting magazine there was a study on it. I also forget where it was but there was a study on some nesting birds, the nest were being disturbed so they set up cameras to see who the culprit was.. they ended up find that whitetails were seeking out the nest and eating the hatched babies...

    The fish, on the coasts, whitetails have been known to feed on fish that run up on the shores...

    Saw a clip on Bowhunter TV showing a doe cannibalizing a dead deer.
