my new excuse for shooting smaller bucks...would have shot the 200" but nobody would believe me so I shot the 100"
That buck is from one of the top whitetail producing counties in the country, if a natural free range deer can grow that big ( I believe they can) then at least this one has something in it's favor. The story also doesn't have any obvious hitches in it either...at least that I recall reading or catching. I don't have any problem giving a hunter the benefit of the doubt for a huge monster buck as long as it's justifiable to do so. A 230" 2 year old deer (1.5yo?) from the east coast shot by a teen and raised on a miracle mineral was quite a stretch. Not to mention then seeing a skullcap with hair one it at the scorers table. This one could certainly be a pen raised deer and if so then I hope he gets nailed too but I just don't see anything that screams fraud here.
What a stud of a buck! Congratulations to the young man on a deer of a lifetime. Gotta love kansas! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Everything I've heard and read about this buck seems legit. He's in a great county in kansas, and it seems that he and his dad have a long history of tagging trophy deer. No magic minerals mentioned, no small body on the deer. I hope it's legit, what a monster.
