    Haha, yea..

I've been saying for years that I believe deer utilize old structures and "foreign" objects in their areas, to bed in and around, for cover.

I had never taken the initiative to actually place a trail camera in these areas to prove this theory, but, I did find a bed in the snow tucked right along side of a ground blind I have out, that I barely ever go to. That was cool !!

    Very cool photos.

Dave Bols, has found quite a few sheds right around old homes and barns on property that he farms in IL.

    Awesome pics,

My Fire Department burned an old factory/house down last spring and we found deer trails/dropping, etc going in and throughout the factory and outbuildings around the house. There was also an underground railroad tunnel about 50 feet long from the fatory to the house that the "critters" (doubtfull on deer) made a trail out of. Pretty neat stuff.

I would like to hear more about this.. I have a few caves on my ground and have seen a few tracks around them, never thought of setting up a trail cam near them, cool in the summer?
also have two old barns that the roofs are the only things left, never even thought of checking them, they are in the middle of the corn field thats thinking outside the box.

Growing up, deer would bed in and around our hay barn, but, these were basically "tame" deer, and, the barn had an open front.

I've actually hunted out of old barns and an old house that's surrounded by woods, now. Never killed anything out of either, but, It was a very comfortable hunt, and, I did see some deer.

I've got a couple old farmsteads I shed hunt. Friday I kick 6 deer out of one of the old cattle barns when I peeked in. Today I kicked a couple out of a pole barn at another old farmstead.

We stored some wheat in one of the quonset at the farm one year. We had equipment in there also. The boss went down and closed the door. The next day when he opened it... he almost got ran over when the deer came flying out. LOL
