Posted this on the "other" site but figured I'd show it off to you guys over here too. :d

My project is nearly complete. Figured I would show you guys a pic of my progress so far. I am extremely pleased with how it's turning out. Next thing I want to do is build some drawers to utilize the space under the bottom shelf of the bench. I'll just put some casters on there so I can roll them out.

I'm jealous. I have all the tools for the coolest home shop ever (except a full size press, will have one soon), but no bench for everything and no organized space.

This winter after season is over, I'm building our attic space into an extra bedroom/office space, and when that's done I'll be building my man cave in the basement. I promise when I get to finally do it, it's going to be pretty sweet.

    Looks great, and enjoy it!!

Thanks man and you'll have to remember to post pics when you get it done.

As you can probably see; I'm lacking a couple items (besides the one's my buddy has borrowed and never returned). Anyway, any good recommendations on a bow vise? I need one badly!

Will you use it to just hold the bow when working, or will you also want something to do 2nd/3rd axis adjustment with? How much $$$ do you want to spend?

I have both an Apple Infinitely Adjustable (roughly $80), and a Medicine Stone Super Tuner (a LOT more than $80 ;) ).

I'm using the HTM Master Level System on the Medicine Stone for 2nd/3rd axis adjustments.

Really just need something to hold the bow while working. I've read some good things about the Ram Pro Vise. I want something that will rotate 360 degrees and 90 degree tilt. Is that the same as a bow vise made specifically for 2nd and 3rd axis adjustments? I don't have a sight with those features but I may one day down the road.

Here's a link to the Ram Pro vise.

If you want to just hold the bow, the Ram Pro will do fine, as will the Apple I showed above. There is a knock-off of the apple that you can buy on ebay floating around too for less $$$.

With that said, I wouldn't trust anything but a Medicine Stone, HTM, or something made specifically for 2nd and 3rd axis adjustments on the sight. If that's not important to you, than the Apple or Ram Pro will do just fine.

Ben asked me why I haven't posted a pic of mine and I just said, it's still a work in progress. You cannot believe all the stuff I have just waiting on finishing the basement this winter. We affectionately call it, Poorguy's Archery.

I have straightened the place up a bit. Still in progress, still somewhat of a mess.

If I get the storage built and finish off the other pegboard for the second bench, I would be happy with the results.

I would be embarrassed to take a picture of it right now, too messy. Not enough pegboard and storage space to make it look neat yet.

    Soon my friend, very soon!!
