Cheating, taking pics from the living room

One of the local does in the yard, she is just a tad over a year old. A brief reprieve in the heat after a downpour brought her out early this evening and I was able to snap a reasonable pic.

Her sister was hit by a car on the nearby road in the spring. Her mother has twins each year and was also in the yard the other evening, but no sight of this years fawns. Her, uh, half brother (?) was also making the rounds the other morning, but it was a jail break when the dogs were let out.

 

Makes hunting easier and warmer too!

thats funny i just got a pic from my living room. i havent seen a deer by my house in years and its weird because i live in a pretty wooded area.

 

Pretty cool to have them right there in your yard.
