So I had my first cam jacked this spring, not happy about it. Anyhow, I need to pickup another one very soon, as I would like to get some summer growth pics. I need your opinions!

    1) Buy a cheaper Wildgame for $100 or less, keeping in mind the fact that it could get stolen. They do take decent pics. And I could have more than one for the price of a nice one.

    2) Buy a nice Bushnell or something, and get the security box.

    THanks

You can do both things with DLC Covert. You can buy a flash or IR for under $150, they take excellent pics and have great customer service. As an added bonus the batery life is awesome. Good luck with your choice and I am looking forward to your pics.

This may be something you want to do, go to walmart.com and find the tasco trail camera. its like $50 and takes great pictures with a great battery life. I believe they just started making an infrared camera also.

I have 2 (flash) and love them both. My dad saw the pics I was getting and went and got one. They are very simple to use

I'd go security box for sure. Nothing is theft-proof but it will keep an honest man honest.

    Blessings.......Pastorjim

Buy a cam that has a place for a python lock or box cover just to keep the honest people from taking them..real thieves return with bolt cutters or a chain saw.

For a 100.00 cam look at the dlc covert 3.0 or the 4.0 cams 80-110 to your door online

As always look at the reviews of your next cam online chasingame

Here is a review of my cam i got last week. It's bad arse

I totally agree. I bought the DLC Covert and it works great. They way the camera is built, you can run a Masterlock Python Cable through the back and also add a lock to the side. I did this just as a precatuion. Yeah security box would also work great.

I got a Wildgame camera last year and I am completely disappointed with it. Takes good pics as long as the animal is completely still. If it's moving at all the pic is blurry. I bought a Spypoint this Spring and I absolutely love it. Takes great pics day or nite. We also had a fairly cheap one from walmart that we started out with around here. I think it cost us $80. It was a flash cam, but the deer here didn't seem to mind it at all. It had over 6000 flash pics taken when the flash finally gave out. I still put it out this year for daytime pics, but the whole thing finally quit all together. I guess we got our money's worth out of it tho. Good luck and can't wait to see some pics man :)

If you check out Ebay, the 2009/2010 scoutguards are on auction sales now. Cheap and reliable!

I just picked up a Moultrie M-100, M-80 with the 2" viewing screen so if you have to walk a long ways you can check the pics before taking the card home to upload em. On sale for $140 at Gander Mtn. I jumped on it. Have yet to check pics it's been out there for 3weeks now, I have a older Moultrie D-55IR and it takes great pics. So I assume the 2012 M-100 will be as good or better. Also, IR.

I noticed everyone is recommending products. Well, what if I told you that you could get paid to do just that! Check out GlobalNet Outdoors! They are a new outdoor company that pays its members monthly commission and bonuses. Pretty awesome! I just joined!
